Vertical antennas
for 160, 80, 40 and 30 meters bands.
For making verticals, we are using tubes with more than 10 different diameters to form a telescopic construction. Tubes material (D16t alloy) secures high strength and small weight.
For ease of transportation all tubes are 2 meters
length.
Verticals are produced in several modifications
and heights.
Here is standard package of vertical besides antenna:
1 - base plate made from steel or aluminium alloy
2 - hinge stands on base plate
3 - metal plate with 4 U-bolts for clamping both vertical and
lift arm
4 - fittings for guys mount
5 - bimetallic capacitive load wires with porcelain insulators (for MBV models only)
6 - stud pins, bolts, nuts, ring plates - all of stainless steel
7 - insulator or insulating ring.

OPTIONS:
1. 1. MATCHING UNITS "TU" FOR MBV
VERTICALS.
These devices provide vertical switching and matching
in 160, 80CW, 80SSB and 40 meters bands. Control unit and power
supply are placed at station.
TU-2 (up to 2 kW) -
fixed-value capacitors are used for matching on 80m band.
TU-2E - same as TU-2,
but variable capacitors are used for comfortable matching on
80m.
TU-3 - (up to 3 kW).
TU-3E - (up to 3kW)
- same as TU-3, but variable capacitors are used for 80SSB and
80CW tuning.
2. LIFT ARM.
Used for lifting verticals which height is more
than 15 meters.
3. RADIALS.
Radials are necessary to create vertical's reflecting
"mirror". The closer to each other radials lay the
better mirror reflection is. IOW more energy reflected to space
while not wasted on heating the ground.
Complete set of surface (or underground) radials of copper wire:
For 160m - 10 pcs x 42 m.
For 80m - 10 pcs x 21 m.
For 40m - 10 pcs x 10 m.
Another alternative is a complete set of elevated radials of AMG5 wire (light and strong wire). Tuned elevated radials create streamlined system. Essential minimum is two radials on each band. Four radials on each band is recommended.
For 160m - 2 pcs.
For 80m - 2 pcs.
