AD -180S is a new development for the 80m band. The dipole antenna (split vibrator) is made of durable D16T alloy, insulators are made of durable fiberglass. The length of the antenna is 26 meters. (At the request of the customer, the linear size can be changed in any direction). The shortened geometric dimensions of the antennas are effectively compensated due to high-Q coils (low losses) and capacitive loads at the ends of the dipole.

The antenna set includes a T-shaped stand with a plate and clamps for antenna mounting. The dipole is stretched by a strong plastic wire (UV resistant). Antenna weight is about 26 kg. SWR in range 3.7-3.75-3.8 is no worse than 1.6-1.1-1.6. Gain 6.7 dbi, radiation angle 32.6 degrees for a height of 35m. At a height of 30m, the antenna already has good directional properties. At an altitude of 35m, the orientation diagram looks like an eight. See graphs.

Subband tuning unit TU-80 is required for operation in 3.5-3.6 and 3.6-3.7 MHz range.
